See the history of clothing worn in the mid to late 19th century, following fashions from the sewing machine to ready-made clothing that came through the mail order catalog. Period clothing is featured, allowing guests to see a slat bonnet and to feel how stiff corset boning really was. This program is presented by a fashionably dressed woman of 1860.
