The Man Booker Prize for Fiction is awarded to a novel written by a citizen of The Commonwealth
of Nations or the Republic of Ireland. The Commonwealth of Nations was formerly called the British Commonwealth, and
consists mainly of the United Kingdom and its former colonies.
