Anoka County Library, created in 1958, serves the information needs of 280,000 County residents. The library is a service of Anoka County government and functions under the authority of the Anoka County Board of Commissioners and the Anoka County Library Board. The system operates eight libraries and has two affiliated institutions: Columbia Heights Public Library and the Anoka County History Center Library.

OUR STRATEGIC PLAN

The 2008–2012 Strategic Plan was developed through the collaboration of representatives from Anoka County communities, the Anoka County Library Board, the Anoka County Commissioners and County Management, and the staff of Anoka County Library.
