Library Board

Your Anoka County Library is funded by a local property tax levy set by the Board of County Commissioners. It is operated by the County Library Board as a Public Library.

The Anoka County Library Board is composed of seven citizen members who are appointed by the County Board. The board meets monthly to govern and set policy for the library. Board meetings are held on the third Monday of each month at 5:30 p.m. Exceptions are the January and February meetings, which are held on the fourth Monday. Board meetings are open to the public.
